really, isn't vday nothing more than a commercial scam designed to force you to part with your money? shouldn't you be expressing your love for someone every single day if you really do love them, and not just on one day? and if you do, then whether or not it's vday won't matter to you, will it?

ah, rhetoric.

i hate vday, yet i love it. alright maybe hate's a strong word. how bout don't like. who's going to deny that it's nice to get chocolates and stuff (or in the case of kwok wangwang biscuit) and flowers? and i guess it's nice giving stuff out to people too. just for the pleasure it gives them. and the pleasure you get from seeing them pleased. but really. doesn't vday just remind you of what you don't have. and even if you don't really want it, the reminder's there nonetheless. and you start to think. if maybe. just maybe. for one day. it'd be nice to have that. special. then it passes the very next day. oh the self-centredness of human beings.

so if we follow that reasoning, then i'm going to get attached for one day a year. hah. ok that was stupid. and whiney. i can't believe you've read this far. go do something more productive with your time.

i think one terrible part of me is that. while i don't really want it anymore, i don't want anyone else to have it too. and you could say i don't want it to want anyone else. which is incredibly selfish of me. but it's true. and yet more often than not it happens.
