1. i love reading chick lit. it's so...unbecoming? for arts students who are supposedly literary snobs who only read things like jane austen and charles dickens. ohdear how unintellectual. but there's this shallow pleasure one derives from reading chick lit that just doesn't require much brainpower, yu know?

2. i have a pact with jo that if neither of us gets married, we're going to live together with 20 dogs which we will have to lock up if marianne decides to visit. i think charmaine might be joining us too haha.

3. i am deadly afraid of lizards and heights. but i love rollercoasters. and i want to go hang gliding. you tell me how that works out.

4. after i watch horror movies, i get so freaked out by the scenes replaying in my head that even taking a shower seems scary. when i was younger i used to get my sister to stand at the door just to talk to me so i wouldn't feel like i was all alone and vulnerable to, i dunno, attacks. heh.

5. i don't really believe there's such a thing as 'a best friend'. 'best friendS', maybe, but that just defeats the purpose of the superlative, doesn't it. i don't know, limiting it to one just feels scary. having lots of good friends, and some especially good ones seems more realistic.

6. when i was little (like, in kindergarten) and the teachers in kindergarten taught us about how we had to be prepared for when Christ would come back to the world and the second judgement and all...remember the brides with the oil in their lamps and whatnot (yes it was a protestant kindergarten) i actually took them seriously and i think there was one point when i used to try to stay up at night just in case that was the night when it would happen. heh oh gosh that was such a long time ago it feels weird to be thinking about it now mm
