working life is so strange

it's so strange nowadays, seeing everyone's blogs complaining about work and all, when just a few months earlier (you could even count it in weeks) we were grousing about the a-levels and how we couldn't wait for them to be over. haha. i miss school! i miss being a student instead of a teacher gosh. and i miss our teachers, the classroom, the class, the crazy things we did all the time, orientation, walking to j8 to buy bubble tea, skipping lectures to sleep in class and getting caught by rolly who didn't really care, smsing under the table, the temperamental aircon in class that was freezing at one side and warm at the other. omg all of that! and i'll never have that again! aaaahhhhh. see elly i sympathise with you too!

and some freaky guy was talking to me at the busstop today like wth lah he was being all 'friendly' and whatnot and i kep trying to move away but he kept moving nearer. damn freaky. thank God he got up a bus before i did. and thankyou for calling to rescue me! haha ask me if you want the whole story i refuse to put it all up here and relive it in my head.

work's been alright lah although i wanna leave soon. some days i'm just ready to kill the little kids (for those who don't already know, i'm 'teaching' a nursery class at the ywca outram kindergarten haha) but on occasion they're just so damn adorable and cute you can't bear to. and baby luke in the nursery (as in for the real babies) makes days better cos he's just so damn cute lah gosh i shall post a picture of him up soon. and some of them are super sweet, doing things like crawling into your lap and saying 'i love you!' haha. gosh.

been making full use of my weekends by going out alot. haha. shopping with trix was great fun -grin- i got my pebbles tee from zara! it's abit too big for me but nevermind i love it love it love it! hahahah been eyeing it since i saw it in japan but it was too ex there (like 3000yen? which is about 30usd gosh when i got it here for 30 sgd) and new shoes! haha and walking around town for like 7 hours on saturday was nice too, in a different way. not shopping..just walking and talking. i think in one's life you don't really meet that many people you can just do that with haha so good for me i guess -grin- mmhmm.

finally ordered new birks online! i got rain of flowers orange madrids, which is such a prettyyy design i think everyone's gonna order it too. which isn't good. but still. ahwell. haha cos like the neighbours i ordered with ordered that design too. but i didn't know until they ordered it. so ahwell. for those who're looking to buy birks, i think the aster blue floridas are nice too! and....i can't remember what else, but i remember trix likes pop art flowers hahaha. gosh.

i hate feeling helpless i wish i knew what i could do but i don't and that sucks.

i want to buy a wrap dress! ok so random. haha. or actually a mock wrap dress, i think the actual tying is damn inconvenient and v dangerous haha. alright that was just random.

offers have come from warwick(2) durham and lse so far. crossing my fingers and hoping for cambridge and the second lse one to come through too. haha. long shot but well...i dunno. hopefully mas turns out ok too and if i'm really really lucky, one of the us schools at least. ughh. so annoying. and just now i was going on about missing school. haha. well well.

ok i can feel the fever i had yesterday coming back so i should go sleep. i can just imagine what those of you who read this will be saying tomorrow. 'omg jean you blogged! like after how long!' yesyes fine point taken i shall blog more ok haha byebye.
