not a bad labour day

ohh i love my class haha they are the most comfortable familiar nonsensical people ever. and i mean that in a good way. im so glad we have them haha and that the guys can come out for a 2-night bookout and spend one night and one day with us. and i hope we never ever become one of those classes who dont talk to each other! haha. wow look at the difference between this and the classes i teach man. they keep saying they have class spirit and then they flame and backstab each other on their blogs haha tsktsktsk sec1 alr so scandalous terrible lah

everyone's going awayy! sigh. its so sad that at this time next year we will be scattered across the globe. in 3 different places only, but still! and its awfully selfish of me but i still do want to go away even though staying here is cheaper and "just as good". i dont think the school i want to go is -that- bad lehhh. bah. hate this hate this hate this. and i feel v mean now holding on to all my uk offers cos i don't want to reject any yet in the fear that something will happen to make me want to go there but if i reject it now i can't! especially for warwick cos i have 2 places there now and i feel guilty everytime they mail me stuff cos i always get 2 copies. -makesface- ohwell. must psycho self to think that nus is good for me. i can. uh. stay in hall and drive (hopefully!) out at night for supper. and go on overseas exchange programmes. whoopee. OK NEVERMIND.

kbox today was good fun haha even though so many people pulled out last minute. i figure as long as you have mikewhores like huahua and lyl there you're bound to have fun. haha. everyone arrived late, typically. we figured if we told people to arrive at 10 they would arrive at 11, just on time, but noooo we managed to be late even then. haha. huahua's attempt to sing the first syllable of 'cao cao' was so warbly it was hilarious; ask shumin for a re-enactment if you want hahaha. yelling 'lian ai ing' at the top of our voices as usual, watching lyl and huahua trying to sing 'ju hua tai' (the golden flower song) quite failure-ly, singing 'zombie' and realising that the place in the mtv is MACRITCHIE omg hahaha and even though we were only there for about 3 hours it made for a gorgeous labour day anyway (=

dinner last night was fun too haha. lamianxiaolongbao is like a class favourite by now. arrived at holland v super early (for once!) cos samjo was still in novena, bummed in starbucks for about 2 hours or so marking common tests and passing them around to be read haha. the good thing about being a eng/lit teacher from a humanz class is that whenever i'm not sure about whether or not their grammar is wrong i just pass it to a classmate and they can usually tell me the answer. haha. nydc after lmxlb was good, sinful fun where we finally managed to gouge things out of the normally silent zhifeng. haha. the guys all look taller now, i dunno why, either its that we haven't seen them for too long or ocs has done strange things to them.

poor charles. haha. don't worry you'll be out soon!

hrm so that's it for this week so far...last week was good only cos i got to skip like 2 days of work for nus interviews which actually ended early enough for me to have gone back to work haha but no matter. nus usp interview was...short and strange. didn't really feel like an interview at all. nus law was with this woman with a super fake laugh and who apparently gave everyone a really hard time; thankfully she wasn't too bad to me heh.

have finally signed up for facebook, at shumin's persistent promotion of it haha so if you have it and you actually know me/know who i am, add me!

When I like people immensely I never tell their names to anyone. It is like surrendering a part of them. I have grown to love secrecy. It seems to be the one thing that can make modern life mysterious or marvellous to us. The commonest thing is delightful if one only hides it. When I leave town now I never tell my people where I am going. If I did, I should lose all pleasure. It is a silly habit, I daresay, but somehow it seems to bring a great deal of romance into one's life.
