achievement of the week - i have learned to parallel park! and i only knocked over one pole in the process! not bad ehhh plus it was pouring at the time. learning to vertical park tomorrow! haha. and...ok i dunno what else.

in other news, i am unemployed now! i realised that day that i was actually a civil servant for the past 13 weeks or so which is quite a scary thought. and i don't count giving tuition as employment, so yes i am unemployed and will be until 4th of june, when i start my hwa chong stint. haha.

twas quite sad to leave my job...i'll miss some of the people there. won't miss the marking, definitely. the other teachers were v nice to us, thankfully. ok although there was creepy A. the kids were v cute haha hopefully i didn't screw them up too badly and they'll still all do decently for their exams. its quite nice to be reading nice comments about me floating around the internet but yes ok no more of this ego-ness. haha. ok lah i guess i'll miss it. somewhat. thankyou for making this whole experience...good sounds weird. rewarding. yes. now i understand why they say teaching has its perks. non-pecuniary benefits, as dear old mr. reeves would say. haha especially since the pecuniary advantages aren't all that great. man i miss econs. and henceforth i shall no longer be a teacher.

trixiaaaa when are we going to vivo for our all-day shopping spree! i am in a dress mood again and GUESS WHAT i was a good girl today i walked past a shoe shop without even looking closely at things!

yesterday was quite funny. was supposed to go watch pirates3 with charles and he was like "ok i booked tickets for 4pm show already!" but i was like half an hour late. and before i got there he called and was like "ehhhhhh guess what i just found out the tickets i booked...were for...YESTERDAY OMG" hahaha ok its actually quite distressing but i found it v funny. ahwell. so there went my 2nd-pirates3-viewing. now it has changed to tomorrow cos my parents want to watch it and you know i will never say no to a free pirates movie, and most probably even to a not-free one. haha. will probably go down and join them after the smu scholarship interview -makes face- i thought i was done with interviews for...ok not forever, but at least for the rest of the year.

anyway that wasn't the only funny thing that happened yesterday. we were at ben&jerry's at cathay eating icecream at the bar counter and suddenly the person in front of us turned around and stared at us and it was CHRISTINE SIM HUI LING. hahaha who was convinced we were stalking her. no my dear. ran into david chan too, who looked v sorry for me when he heard i got into smu biz+econs, like i was sending myself into voluntary torture and potential execution. now i'm getting scared. haha. but ahwell i shall only decide between nus and smu after i find out if i got that smu scholarship thing. 5000bucks a year plus a free laptop is not bad. haha. but we shall see. crap lah how mercenary.

first session of living clay today. not many people but ok lah i dunno i hope it all works out well. haha.
