hrm. since facebook doesn't seem to be working on my comp, my usual nightly entertainment is gone and so i shall revert to blogging.

it's strange...my life now feels v busy yet free. haha ok i make no sense.

timbre on wednesday night with maui was good fun haha despite the sweltering heat. happy hour is always good. i wanted to try the chocolate martini but it sounded abit too sweet to go with dinner so i ended up having a lychee freeze and a snowball. the heat makes ice melt really fast. haha. about halfway through my snowball i switched drinks with alex and finished off his sea breeze, which was not bad really. why do drinks always -sound- so nice. great company, the food was not bad...luckily we had the doctor on hand for gomes heh although germaine had to suffer alone poor dear...and i'm v sorry i was an hour late and everyone waited for me to order. haha. love goddess's blinding flash...shimon's shorter hair...arguments on what your "three no's" for an ideal guy should be...and there's lots more but i cannot think of it right now. hrm.

i think it's quite bad that my piano exam is in 6 days time and my driving test is in 31 days but i feel more prepared for driving. yes, despite getting 40 points for my evaluation. i didNOT strike any curbs today or proceed on any flickering green arrows. which saves me 18 points. hahahahaha omg that's just damn sad.

but i think driving lessons are quite therapeutic, as long as i don't a) get scolded, b) get into or cause an accident or near-accident, c) fail stupid assessments, d) strike poles/curbs, e) have to do the emergency brake thing, which is really v irritating, and f) get a mean instructor. actually f has never occurred. haha. i think in that one respect i've really been v fortunate, cos i hear horror stories about monster instructors from people like aldrich and i'm like 'ehh ok but mine are nothing like that'. so much so that if i fail i wouldn't be -too- devastated cos i'd just go for more lessons. haha. and my driving lessons almost always turn into chat sessions interspersed with "ok turn left here." "u-turn ahead" and "try your parallel parking again". haha. fun fun. although if there's one thing i hate, it's the blasted crank course cos that's where i seem to have plenty of affinity with the curb. hrmmmm.
