it feels like you could be talking to anyone else. do you know how sad that makes me feel? i guess you don’t.

my driving license arrived today! hahaha

school proper has started - i'm still not used to it at all. thank God for the raggers, who i seem to be spending just about all my time with; they really remind me of 1A sometimes, especially people like alphis and kenneth who are just like yeeler in some ways. the stuff we're learning is pretty interesting i guess, but the pace is so fast i feel like i'm behind already - and it's only the 3rd day of school!

rag on saturday was wonderful. we were so scared but we managed to pull it off! and i think it really was the best show we ever put up in our 6 weeks of practice. the stunts were beautiful and even though we didn't win, as xun ai would say, we are winners in our hearts HAHAHAHA. i would post photos up, but i am lazy. if you want to see them, go to facebook and look at kristine or shuyu's albums. haha. the waiting at the padang was horrendous lah, especially since we had practically no sleep at all, but wow the rush you get when you're on the stage...i almost forgot what it was like.

anyway i think colleen did a much better job writing about it than i did so i shall just quote her here.

It's over.

After six or so weeks of heading to btc early in the morning at ten thirty when it is supposed to be ten that we previously arranged to meet, training and practicing our dance moves with countless breaks in between where we would pig out on pao, chips, cookies, cupcakes, awfully chocolate-ty stuff and play reTARded games like tuki tuki and laugh ourselves silly, saying incoherent things when we have stayovers where sleep at five in the morning and wake up cranky with our brains left behind, being together, being communal, like biting into food which had had already been passed around several times and sleeping together- girl or guy no matter- which, in normal circumstances, wouldn't be so common and comfortable for most people... we have come to the end, and like how it is that all good things must come to an end, our days of carefree, happy, retarded funness have concluded.

Our performance at the padang yesterday was so damn kick ass despite the fact that everyone was in such desperate and dire need of sleep, and I'm so proud we did it. YES, WE DID IT! Sex tonight was orgasmic. Our birthday cake went up beautifully with a very successful canon effect. The other stunts all went up too and our dance was damn neat. One chance to bang it, and we did. YAAAY!!! I've never experienced such a high before especially during the finale when we were dancing and soaking in the moment with cheers and screams erupting from all directions and I think all of us went insanely ecstatic as we skipped off the stage, feeling that immense feeling of pride, knowing we performed our personal best on the actual day, making the faculty and all the seniors, who put so much effort into this, proud. The guys completely lost their minds when we were back at the tent- they were splashing and pouring coke over everyone making a mess of the place and dousing Christine and Ruizi with cold water, while the rest of us went crazy acting out our chant 'Roast Ziying!' and tearing and screaming and hugging everyone like mad freaks. Ahhh, such accomplishment. Doesn't matter that nussu is so screwed not to have judging just for the dance component- seeing that they have a separate judging for flag and they give out plenty of other crap awards which are all about the same thing anyway- because we all know we did our best and our dance was the best. The many hours of preparation, the sprained wrists, the aching backs, the black-blue bruises: just for a mere five minutes on stage. It's true that the final product is what matters to most people because that is what the audience see, but for those who were involved in the entire process all know that the ride together, from beginning to end, is what's most precious, the impressive presentation being only the culmination of all the hard work, passion and time spent together.
