im gonna be 19 soon. i think i must have grown up sometime this year - i'm just not as excited about a birthday as i used to be. when i was a kid all i wanted was nice nice presents and stuff. nice birthday treats, stuff that i wanted, didn't need but couldn't afford, all that jazz. i don't really want that anymore...i think now what i really appreciate is heartfelt stuff. like. as cliched as it sounds, stuff that money can't buy. which is an awful lot to demand, but hey, life demands an awful lot of us too doesn't it. alright that didn't make sense. i suppose what's most important to me right now is knowing that people care.

hrm. i -have- been having alot of fun lately. maybe too much. i simply cannot settle down to properly concentrate on work yet. haha. flea market shopping with marian jacq colleen shups on saturday was great fun, ended up buying even more getplush stuff (angie are you proud of me! haha) and dinner at gladys's mum's place was fantastic too. taboo at haojin's place was classic rag nonsense haha

missed the last train home, stranded in KEMBANGAN of all places, but ended up cabbing with shuying marian and mag. "it was nice being stranded with you!" haha

my dad took the family out to fullerton for high tea yesterday. omg the chocolate cake there is TO DIE FOR please go and eat it if you have the chance, it is orgasmic i tell you, and i don't normally describe things like that. walked over to marina square in my freakin 3-inch pumps (i had no idea we were doing anything besides eating) and ended up giving in to my screaming toes and buying charles&keith slippers haha. bliss for your feet.

i need to sleep and read but i keep watching crunchyroll this is v v v bad
