and a nice surprise today when i saw paul grinning at me waving Queen's Greatest Hits at me. he even let me bring it home hahaha i think he thinks i'm going to return it. hRmmmmm. haha.

went for pnw session by jeannette at smota with marc and max just now and was hit by an immense waves of nostalgia. oh what wouldn't i give to be in st cecilia's again. with mark and ivan leading. cheryl lek on the keyboard. ewen and ben toh on the guitar. cynthia on the drums. a gorgeously professional ppt probably done by bryan. jarrod's voice booming out above everyone else's. a whole room of people i know. familiar songs we can sing with our eyes closed. all the silly action songs with jerome byron and monica in front. marianne and jo always close by. obviously i'm just throwing out names as i remember them but omggggg i miss that so so much. i even miss yl and waking up early every single week to do mass. nervewracking homilies. bitching sessions. lounging around in stmikes omg. and a hamster for a girl's sweet 16th.

jeannette says she's moved on. but she still wears the vc cross every time i see her. mine's tucked away in its original lavender velvet pouch in my cupboard. somewhere inside each and every one of us something remains from that era, of better days long gone. and i still don't have a reason for why it happened. at least, not one that doesn't involve being rude and bitter.
